Mia Ghogho is an interdisciplinary artist and creative strategist based in Chicago. Working across painting, printmaking, drawing, collage and sculpture, her practice draws from inherited visual languages: textile, quilt, and weave. Reanimating the patterns and craft traditions of her lineages to dream up worlds that explore the natural world and our place within it.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Sculpture and has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. In January 2025, she presented her debut solo exhibition, This Land Sings in Patterns We Cannot Name, at Berj Gallery in Accra, Ghana - a culminating body of work following her residency with the gallery. Her work has also been featured in numerous group exhibitions.

As a creative strategist and digital creator, Mia has lent her artistic lens to leading global brands including Tory Burch, Farm Rio, Ralph Lauren, and Adobe — bridging the worlds of fine art and contemporary culture through intentional, image-driven storytelling.

At the core of everything she makes is a meditative approach to material and meaning, one lead with curiosity, lineage, and an ever-evolving relationship with the living world.
