When it comes to beauty products, some are forever things, and some cycle in & out and are lost to the trashbin. These are my current beauty picks, old and new, and my mini review of them!
1. New Glossier Priming Moisturizer.
Function: 2-in-1 Moisturizer and Makeup Primer
Price: $25
Thoughts: This moisturizer does exactly what it says. I switched it out for Glossier's Riche Priming moisturizer,
due to warmer weather. It is very lightweight, but durable. A keeper.
2. Old Mario Badescu Rosewater Spray
Function: A hydrating facial mist used before, during or after makeup application for a refreshing skin vibrancy boost.
Price: $12
Thoughts: As you can see this bottle is almost gone, and it's my 3rd one. I love this spray.
I use it before my moisturizers, and occasionally after makeup if my face feels too cakey, this makes it feel like skin again.
3. New Fresh Rose Face Mask
Function: Hydrating and toning gel mask infused with rose petals.
Price: $25-62
Thoughts: This mask feels very good to apply and smells heavenly. I can't really quote any note-worth results yet though.
My skin does feel slightly moisturized immediately after, but I'm unsure if it is lasting.
4. Old Bahi Cosmetics Sunflower Sweets Serum
Function: Unique essential oil combination that treats scarring and hyper-pigmentation.
Price: $20+
Thoughts: LOVE!! This serum is amazing. I use it almost every other day, and it definitely helps with removing any scarring or dark spots on my face.
I'm so sad it's running out, definitely repurchasing. + ALL NATURAL.
5. New Anese Co Smells Like Queen Spirit
Function: Hydrating body and hair elixir.
Price: $26
Thoughts: I haven't used it much, but my initial thoughts were that it's just another spray claiming to hydrate and won't.
Also, the hair and body thing through me for a loop, but this product has some promising ingredients. Neroli water,
Glycerin, and Organic Aloe Vera. I know that my skin loves Aloe and Glycerin, so the jury is still out! Will be updating my opinion on
this spray either her or my youtube channel.
6. Old DIY Eyebrow and Lash Serum
Function: Help stimulate growth of browns and lashes.
Price: Free(If you own the ingredients)
Thoughts: This serum is infused with 3 of my fav products. Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, and Black Castor Oil. I use it nightly, and this I have definitely
been loving the little results I have so far!
7. New/Old Mario Badescu Enzyme Revitalizing Mask'
Function: Moisturizing mask aimed at dry, combo skin to treat lackluster/dullness.
Price: $20
Thoughts: Ok, I put old and new because I've been using it for only 2 months, but I love it! In such a short time I can
tell that this is going to be one of my holygrails. I use this mask once a week, and my skin is always more radiant and
vibrant afterwards. Also, the price point is perfect!
